Masonic Ladies Festivals
As a Freemason and Past Master of several years, I am familiar with the protocols and procedures required for a successful Ladies Night. Generally a black tie event with the ladies in evening dress, it is an opportunity for the Master and Lodge members to thank their ladies for their support during the year and to raise money for charity. At the Ladies Night the Master is referred to as the President and he and his Lady are applauded as they enter the room. There follows a sumptuous meal interspersed by a number of casual toasts. Following the meal there are a series of formal toasts, one of these is to the ladies when the Presidents Lady is presented with a gift on behalf of the Lodge. This toast is complete when a Lodge member sings the Ladies Song. Having performed this on several occasions I would be delighted to assist with this if required.
